Laying a Hash  (The Malvern Way)

   Find a suitable pub.

Inform the Hare Raiser well in advance.

It is best to have at least two Hares, recce the trail well in advance & inform any land owners if need be.

Keep Hash to around 1 to 1.5 hours, roughly 4 miles. take plenty of flour & mark well, usually 5 bags.

Keep the on Inn & on out separate if possible.

Markings. Circles or straight lines for checks, 4 blobs & your on, crosses for false trail, fish hooks for check back, HH for regroup, two in a row to show direction if the footpath is indistinct , put in as many checks as possible to slow up the FRB's. Use  T's as diodes (one way only) leg towards you means you can not pass through (hope thats right Mona)

Keep it simple & most of all enjoy being out there.
